Oakland based vocalist Lilan Kane has poured her heart out to audiences all over the country, and this Valentine’s Day will be no exception. Known for her emotive delivery and soulful storytelling, she will be performing classic love songs by Chet Baker, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Sarah Vaughan and more. Singing songs of love, like, and maybe a few about heartbreak, she will be backed by a stellar band of musicians including Marco Casasola on piano, Kevin Goldberg on bass, J Paul Macklin on drums and THE Mike Olmos on trumpet (the last touring trumpet player with Miss Etta James).

Lilan Kane has sold out shows at Yoshis and SFJAZZ and has performed as numerous festivals including the Fillmore Jazz Festival and French Quarter Festival in New Orleans. She has sung with Pete Escovedo and opened for Morgan James, Hall & Oates, Chicago and others.
