Martin is a pianist/keyboard player that continues a diverse career as a performer as well as an educator and has performed and/or recorded with a wide variety of artists that include: Stevie Wonder, Sting, Randy Brecker, Angela Bofill, Al Jarreau, Shankar Mahadevan, Flora Purim & Airto Moriera, Herbie Hancock, Tuck & Patti, Robben Ford, Joey DeFrancesco, John McLaughlin, Patti Austin, Steve Winwood, Santana, Chris Isaak, B.B. King, John Handy, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Botti, Jose Neto & the Netoband, Paul Simon, Patti Labelle, Ramsey Lewis, Stanley Turrentine, Dennis Chambers, Turtle Island String Quartet, and Wayne Shorter.

Currently on staff as an educator in the Jazz Department of the University of California at Berkeley as well as at the California Jazz Conservatory, and the Jazzschool in Berkeley, Ca.
