After 15 years of comedy, award-winning storyteller Inanc "Ino" Karacaylak is presenting a comedy special where he will discuss life, art, birds & whales. You may already know him as co-host of the monthly StorySlam Oakland show at the Sound Room.

His unique style blends hilarious stories from his life, including his time as a foreign exchange student from Turkey navigating language barriers, anecdotes of his career as an ocean kitesurfing instructor, and his sharp take on the challenges of becoming a U.S. citizen as a “brown guy.” His quick wit and brilliant crowd work will keep you laughing from start to finish.

Inanc is also hosting a reception for his art. He is currently displaying his art work at The Sound Room and will do a live painting during the show.
